Wood Technology

The choice of wood is inevitably a difficult one. The rich colors of walnut require the use of natural drying, a long and expensive process. The process of shaping a single pair of cups takes up to 8 hours. The entire process of sanding, varnishing and finishing takes 45 days. The wooden components are carefully inspected and no defective or imperfect pieces are allowed to reach the final assembly process.

All wood used for Meze headphones is harvested strictly from certified sources. That is, mature trees that have reached the end of their life cycle. In this way, the brand helps the environment and gives old trees the chance to shine once again in the form of Meze headphones.
